GV Mesa · the table QR code

QR code table ordering: the table orders, calls and sees its tab without waiting for a waiter

A QR code printed on every table: guests see the menu, order, and the order lands on the kitchen ticket with their table number. They call staff without raising a hand and follow their tab live.

What slows you down today — and how GVenue solves it

The VIP table raises a hand and nobody sees it
From the QR code on their table, guests call for service and the call pops up on every staff screen at once, with the table number. It no longer depends on a waiter looking that way.
The order travels to the bar from memory
Guests pick from the menu on their phone and the order lands on the kitchen ticket tagged with their table. Nobody writes it down, nobody shouts it across the room.
"What's our tab?" at four in the morning
The table sees its tab live: what it has in credit, what it ordered and what's been added along the way. The end-of-night argument is over before it starts.
The waiter walks back and forth just to bring the check
The check is requested from the phone, with a suggested tip, and staff get the alert. The waiter makes one trip, to collect.

Everything in one system

A permanent QR code on every table

Print it once and it stays on the table. Guests scan it with their camera: they don't install anything or create an account.

A live menu, with its prices

Guests see the menu for the section they're seated in, with that night's prices. If a stock-tracked item runs out, it shows as sold out.

The order lands on the kitchen ticket with its table

Whatever they order from their phone goes to the order printer tagged with the table, just like any other order. Before ordering, the phone is verified with the last digits of the table holder's ID (DNI), or the waiter enables it from their screen.

Drink credits, in plain sight

If the table has drinks included, guests see them on their phone and order them right there. Redemption is atomic: each drink credit can be used only once.

Call staff without raising a hand

The call pops up on every staff screen with the table number. There's only one open call per table, so it never turns into a doorbell.

A live tab, with the check requested from the phone

Balance, orders and activity, in real time. The check is requested with a suggested tip and, if the guest wants, the summary goes to their email. The phone never moves money: it reads and requests; staff collect.

One QR code, two faces

If the person scanning is a staff member who's logged in, the QR code opens the work view for that table. One code for everything.

Members earn points from the table

With GV Circle, anyone at the table adds their ID and what they order earns them member points. Without GV Circle, the table works just the same.

The system adapts to your venue, not the other way around

100% configurable, made to measure

Every module is set up the way you work: prices, menus, hours, each person's permissions, texts and what is on or off. You ask, we adjust it.

Your changes are yours alone

The configuration belongs to your venue. What you change does not affect any other client, and what another client asks for does not touch your system.

It analyzes your data all the time

Every sale, every entry and every closing is recorded, and the reports show you what sells, at what time and what leaves you margin. That is how you tune the system to real use, not to a template.

Custom software, built by people from the trade

We know the business from the inside and we know what we are doing. What your venue needs and is not there yet, we build to measure. We work with passion and dedication on every project we roll out. Custom development →

What changes at every table

With GV Mesa

  • The order reaches the kitchen ticket with the table number, entered by the guest.
  • The call shows up on every staff screen at once.
  • The table sees its tab live: what it has in credit and what it owes.
  • The check is requested from the phone, with a suggested tip.
  • One printed QR code per table, no apps or user accounts.

What you no longer handle separately

  • Jotting the order in a notepad and carrying it to the bar from memory.
  • Scanning the room to see who is raising a hand.
  • Explaining at the end of the night where every line item came from.
  • Walking back and forth to the table just to bring the check.
  • Asking guests to download something before they can order.

How GV Mesa is priced

It's a flat-fee module: USD 19 per month per venue, billed in pesos at the official exchange rate of the day, with unlimited tables and no percentage of your sales. It adds on to the GVenue register: GV Mesa uses the menu, the kitchen tickets and the tabs from GV Barra or GV Resto.

What it does and what it doesn't

Guests order, call for service and check their tab from the table's QR code. What the phone doesn't do is move money: staff collect the check, with the payment methods your register already uses. That way a QR code printed on a table can never overcharge or deduct a balance without someone at the venue seeing it.

Choosing a numbered table when buying a ticket, on the venue's floor plan, is a different module: Tables & VIP. They can be licensed together or separately.

What you need to get started

Have the venue's tables and the section's menu set up. From the dashboard you print each table's QR code, and from that night on guests can order. Staff work from the phone or tablet they already use, with nothing to install.

Anywhere in the worldIt runs in the cloud: it works from any country, on a PC, a tablet or a phone.
In the language you needToday it speaks Spanish and English, and another language can be added on request.
100% configurableHours, names, permissions, prices and screens adapt to the way each client works.
You talk directly to the developerNo help desk, no middlemen: whatever you ask is heard by the person who builds the system, and if it helps your business, it gets built.

Frequently asked questions

How much does GV Mesa cost?
USD 19 per month per venue, with unlimited tables and no percentage of your sales. It adds on to GV Barra or GV Resto.
Do guests have to install an app?
No. They scan the table's QR code with their phone camera and it opens in the browser, with no account to create.
Can anyone who scans the QR code order on the table's behalf?
No. To order, the phone is verified with the last digits of the ID of the table holder or a guest at the table, or the waiter enables it from their screen. Viewing the menu and calling staff don't require verification.
Do guests pay from their phone?
They request the check from their phone, with a suggested tip, and staff get the alert. Staff collect payment with your register's payment methods: the guest's phone never moves money.
Can guests use it to choose a table when buying a ticket?
That's the Tables & VIP module: the buyer picks their table on the venue's floor plan. You can add it in the GV Mesa price builder.
Does the order go to the kitchen or the bar?
It goes to the order screen tagged with the table number, just like any other order, and is prepared at the bar or in the kitchen as usual. Each order has a cap on units, so a single phone can't flood the ticket.
Does it work as a digital QR menu?
Yes. Guests see the live menu for their section with that night's prices, and if a stock-tracked item runs out it shows as sold out. Viewing the menu and calling staff need no verification; placing an order does.
Can I see it before signing up?
Yes: at gvenue.com.ar/demo-resto/ you can see the table QR code working in a sample dining room, and if you'd like, we can go over it with your tables.
